Weed-infused sugar is another easy way to infuse anything your heart desires; tea, coffee, hot chocolate, you name it. I used brown sugar but this works for any type of sugar. Here’s how to do it.
- 3-5 grams marijuana
- 3/4 cup everclear
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Preheat your oven to 240°F, grind your weed and spread it over a baking sheet lined with foil. Place it in the oven and bake for 40 minutes.
- Once your weed is done decarboxylating, remove it from the oven and transfer it to a mason jar. Pour in the everclear until the weed is covered and soaked.
- Shake the jar for 3 minutes then strain the mixture into a mixing bowl using cheesecloth or a coffee filter and discard the plant matter.
Add the sugar to the strained mixture and mix thoroughly.
- Spread your weed-infused sugar evenly onto a baking sheet and bake at 200°F for 30 minutes. This allows the alcohol to evaporate from the sugar.
Remove from the oven and let it cool. To re-granulate the sugar, place it in a sieve and press through with a spoon to get rid of the clumps. Store the weed sugar in an airtight container.
