There are countless ways to get relief. This question is difficult to answer because the type of relief depends on your symptoms.
Try a gentle stretch for morning stiffness. A bath, preferably with Epsom salts or magnesium flakes, for stiffness at other times. This also works for pain.
Find out which foods cause and eliminate the problems for IBS/nausea and other digestive problems. In general, all things to avoid caffeine, alcohol, refined sugar and night shades (tomatoes, etc.)
Be sure to sleep in a cool room with light blankets for temperature problems. Fibromyalgic people usually run hotels.
Try compression clothing for restless legs.
For general pain, heating pads, opioids (be very, very careful because they can become addictive), muscle creams, mild exercise and anything else that specifically works for you.
For headaches and migraines, which are not the same, muscle relaxers, prescription drugs and heating or cooling pads, whichever works for you.
A routine helps with sleep problems. You can sleep with melatonin. It’s a good idea to keep the bedroom dark and quiet too.
I’m not taking prescription drugs for “fibromyalgia.” They don’t work in my experience.
